The Sea Point Promenade boasts a length of nearly 6 km. Jogging and walking is the most popular activity on the promenade with stunning views of the Atlantic ocean.

Along the way, you’ll come across several well-maintained beaches where you can soak up the sun or take a refreshing dip in the ocean. The promenade is also dotted with benches where you can sit and enjoy an ice cream on a sunny day or watch the sunset over the water.

There are many restaurants, cafes and coffee shops close to the promenade where you can grab a bite to eat. This is also a popular walkway to watch the sunrise or sunset.

The Sea Point Pavilion: Salt Water Oceanfront Swimming Pools

The Sea Point Pavilion features two large saltwater swimming pools. One is an Olympic-sized pool that is 1.5 meters deep, making it perfect for swimmers who want to complete laps. The other is a diving pool that is 5 meters deep and comes equipped with diving boards and platforms. Furthermore, the pavilion includes a shallow kiddie’s pool that is 0.4 meters deep and designed for the youngest guests.
