Camps Bay beach is one of the most popular beaches in Cape Town, with white sands and blue waters you will be sure to remember. Camps Bay also has a lively promenade with restaurants and clubs. Entrance to the beach is for free. You can rent a lounging chair or umbrella if you wish.
3. Lion’s Head
Lion’s Head is 7.4km away, and only a 12 minute drive.
Lion’s Head is the most popular free mountain hike attraction in Cape Town. With breathtaking views of the ocean, mountains, and city. Entrance is free and usually takes around 90 minutes to get to the top.

Long Street is only 3.2km from Leeuwenzee, and a short 9 minute drive.
Long Street is where you will find clubs, restaurants and pubs each with their own unique vibe. At night the street comes to life with a lively, social atmosphere.
5. Castle of Good Hope
Castle of Good Hope is 3.6km away, and only a 10 minute drive.
Castle of Good Hope was the headquarters for the South African military in the Western Cape, a piece of South African history. You will have access to the museum and gift shop.
6. Iziko Bo-Kaap Museum
Iziko Bo-Kaap Museum is 3km away, and a quick 6 minute drive.
The Iziko Bo-Kaap Museum is the oldest house in the area, still in its original form dating back to 1768.
7. Sea Point Promenade
The Sea Point Promenade is 1km from Leeuwenzee, and a very short 3 minute drive or you could walk.
The Sea Point Promenade is almost a 6km stretch along the coastline where you will find many people jogging or walking. You can also go for a a swim in the olympic size swimming right up against the coastline.
8. V&A Waterfront
The V&A Waterfront is 3km away, and a short 6 minute drive.
The V&A Waterfront is great for shopping and has many restaurants and food options. The Waterfront over looks the the port. The Two Oceans Aquarium is only a 3 minute walk from the waterfront.
